May 10, 2025 marks the 102nd anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev – the architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijani state, an outstanding personality, and a globally renowned political figure.
Heydar Aliyev played an exceptional role in the development and formation of Azerbaijan as an independent and strong state. In June 1993, responding to the call of the people, the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev returned to lead the republic, saving our country from the threat of losing its stateindependence and from civil confrontation. He succeeded in preventing a deep political, economic, and social crisis.
The rich legacy of the National Leader is successfully continued today under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. This strategic course has paved the way for significant achievements in strengthening the independence of our country, ensuring sustainable economic development, and improving the well-being of our people.
